Keys to happiness at work Post Covid-19

As we evolve into a post-covid-19 era, we strive to find balanced and healthy work environments that cultivate better mental health. Various organizations give their employees small perks such as complimentary snacks, evening parties and activities to relax or take breaks while at work. The happier work environments have shown an increase in employees' momentum and motivation to work more. However, there can be alternative ways to increase an employee's well-being daily.


For instance :

Individuals are more likely to be happier at work when they are passionate about what they do professionally. This intrinsic motivation will positively affect their work and the environment they work in.

Implement wellness and mental health counselling services that help employees deal with external stress that is not in their control. For example, in different scenarios, employees get overwhelmed when their personal life has some form of friction that will eventually affect them at work.

Employees who cultivate a healthier and holistic work-life balance can cope with various challenges at work without stain or conflict between coworkers.

Lastly, happier employees have faster turnover and higher productivity levels, increasing their efficiency at work and their intrinsic level of achievement throughout the day.
